Guide to UG admission 2024-2025


  • The Admission Portal will be available for the WBJEEB allotted candidates who have expressed their willingness to take admission after document verification at Presidency University, Kolkata only. Candidates who applied for upgradation will be allowed once they decide to take admission.
  • Follow the datelines strictly.
  • Uploaded Photo and Signature will be used to generate Identity Card and Registration Certificate. Upload clear and latest Photograph and Signature.
  • Provide your personal email id only.
  • Write to puadmission@presiuniv.ac.in for any help.
  • First complete the payment procedure using 'Payment link'. See the Payment Procedure for help.
  • Note down the payment reference after successful payment.
  • Login into admission portal. Fill up all the field with correct information.
  • Save information time to time
  • "Finalise" check box will be activated when there is no blank required field.
  • Check finalise check box and click save button to proceed further.
  • Enter payment details in designated box and select photo and signature. Press Save button to upload the photo and signature.
  • After completion of all procedure an acknowledgement page will be generated.
  • After verification of payment reporting slip will be generated which may be treated as your proof of admission (provisional). This slip will contain a unique student id. Use that id in your affidavits, department and library.
  1. Click the "Payment Portal" link
  2. Select Payment Category as "UG Admission 2024"
  3. Enter PU Admission Ref Number and other details and press "Fetch Payment Details".
  4. Pay the fee and keep the payment receipt with you for future references. Note down the Payment reference Number after successful payment.
  1. Admission Reporting Slip (with signature) generated from online admission portal
  2. All academic documents with one set of photocopies. Specifically the final Marksheet/ Grade card of the qualifying examination.
  3. Category Certificate(if applicable) with one photocopy
  4. PWD Certificate (if applicable) with one photocopy
  5. EWS Certificate (if applicable) with one photocopy
  6. Original Blood Group Certificate issued by approved testing Lab/ Hospital
  7. Aadhar card
  8. Income Certificate of Parents: The income certificate issued by BDO, SDO or any Group A Government officer or Income Certificate/ Payslip from the Employer or latest ITR.
  9. Affidavits (see Instruction for Affidavits section for texts and links) Following three affidavits in original on non-judicial stamp paper of value Rs 10/- or above (Notary is not essential)
    • DECLARATION BY THE STUDENT AGAINST RACISM
    • DECLARATION BY THE STUDENT ON SEXUAL HARASSMENT
    • DECLARATION BY PARENT/GUARDIAN AGAINST SEXUAL HARASSMENT
    Copy of following two affidavits
    • COPY OF ONLINE AFFIDAVIT BY THE STUDENT ON ANTI-RAGGING
    • COPY OF ONLINE AFFIDAVIT BY PARENT/GUARDIAN ON ANTI-RAGGING
  1. Print the following text on non-judicial stamp papers of Rs 10 and above. Notary is not required. Put the student id (as available in the reporting slip) in the text as admission/registration/enrollment number.
  2. Fill up the online Anti-ragging declaration in the following link and submit the printout of generated affidavite at the time of verification at the Department. Note down the declaration reference number for future reference:
